How to use it
Easy as one, two, three, four
You'll be using it like a pro in under a minute.
Find your bus
Type your route number or a place, like “21A” or “Half Way Tree”. Or tap Buses near me.
Tell it where you are
Choose the stop where you're waiting. No stop on the list? Tap Use my location and it figures out where you are on the route.
Watch for your bus
Check Where's the bus? and the countdown. Set an alert so you don't have to keep checking.
Pay it forward
When a bus passes you, tap Report. It takes seconds and tells everyone further along that it's coming.
What the labels mean
Scheduled is the timetable. Passenger reports are what people saw, and ✓ Confirmed means someone else saw it too. Live is a passenger sharing from onboard. Estimates only show when there's recent information to back them up, always as a range.

Add WehDiBus to your home screen
WehDiBus is a web app. Add it once and it sits on your home screen with its own icon, opening full screen just like any other app. No app store, no big download.
- 1Open wehdibus.com in Safari.
- 2Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (on iPad it's at the top).
- 3Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- 4Tap Add. Done! Look for the yellow bus icon on your home screen.
- 1Open wehdibus.com in Chrome.
- 2Tap the menu ⋮ at the top right.
- 3Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
- 4Tap Install. Done! WehDiBus is now with your other apps.
Tip: allow notifications when WehDiBus asks, so your bus alerts reach you even when the app is closed.

Good to know
Is WehDiBus free?
Yes. It's free to use, with no download and no sign-up needed.
Do I need an account?
No. Accounts are optional and only need a nickname. With one, your routes follow you to any phone and you can earn badges for helping. Adding an email is optional too, just for password resets.
Is this the official JUTC app?
No. WehDiBus is an independent passenger app. It isn't run by or connected with the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC).
How does it know where the bus is?
From published timetables, plus what passengers see and share: “bus just passed”, “I'm onboard”, and live location from passengers who choose to share while riding. The more people share, the better it gets for everyone. When there isn't enough recent information, it tells you honestly instead of guessing.
Does it track my location?
Only when you ask it to, like “Buses near me” or “Use my location”, and it's used for that one lookup. Your saved routes stay on your phone.
Which phones does it work on?
Any smartphone with a web browser: iPhone, Android and more. For the full app experience, add it to your home screen using the steps above.
